Mayogall Road resurfacing scheme to start soon

Resurfacing work is due to begin soon on the Mayogall Road.

A section of the Mayogall Road Gulladuff between Gulladuff village and St Mary’s Chapel is soon to be resurfaced by DFI Roads Service.

Welcoming the news, Sinn Féin Councillor Sean McPeake said: “I am delighted to learn that DfI have agreed to my request to have this stretch of roadway improved as these works have been sought to be resurfaced for some time. Preparatory works have already commenced, and the resurfacing works will be carried out during the school summer holiday term in the absence of nearby school traffic.

“I will update locals on exact commencement works dates and DfI traffic management plans once they become available. Many thanks to DfI Officers Conall McKee and Neil Bratton for their support in agreeing to have these much-needed works completed.”
