Translink shortlisted for three Business in the Community awards
Translink has been named as a finalist in three categories in the Business in the Community (BITC) Responsible Business Awards 2023.
The awards celebrate "inspirational and impactful organisations" in the North.
Translink’s Deputy Chief Executive Gordon Milligan said: “Being shortlisted in three categories is a great achievement and recognition of the talent and efforts of the teams involved in these important projects.
“Our shortlisting for the Diversity and Inclusion Award relates to our full Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) programme, showing the growth and impact of our employee networks, focused attraction campaigns and how we have progressed with Disability Inclusion through the Pilot Work Placement scheme.
“We have also been named as finalist in the Wellbeing at Work category for our holistic approach to employee wellbeing as well as in the Impact in Your Community Award category for our mural painting safety initiative at Adelaide Train Station.
“We’re now looking forward to the next stage of the awards assessment.”
The overall winners will be announced in September.
