Window replacement scheme for Clyde Street homes - Grace Uí Niallais 

Apex Housing Association has confirmed it is to carry out a window replacement scheme at an apartment block in Clyde Street.

The decision has been welcomed by Grace Uí Niallais (Sinn Féin) who is a candidate in the upcoming May 18 Local Government Elections in the Foyleside ward of Derry City and Strabane District Council.

Ms Uí Niallais said: "We received a number of concerns  from residents about the condition of the windows in the Clyde Street apartment complex.  

"After lobbying Apex we are pleased to confirm that they have now allocated funding for the windows to be replaced in this coming financial year. 

"They will be in touch with residents in advance of the works beginning  to discuss arrangements with them."
