Owner of Glam Hair and Beauty, Patricia McCallion, said she was "flabbergasted" to win her second award
Derry salon, Glam Hair and Beauty, have scooped the regional prize for Wedding Hair and Make up Salon of the Year at the Northern Ireland Wedding Awards 2023.
Up against 10 other finalists from County Derry, the Waterloo Street salon took home the regional award at the ceremony held at The Europa Hotel in Belfast to celebrate the champions of the 7th Northern Ireland Wedding Awards 2023.
Owner of Glam Hair and Beauty, Patricia McCallion, dedicated her award to all the brides whose special day she was a part of over the last year.
"I can not believe it," Patricia wrote. "My second award and I’m totally flabbergasted again to win this award, it means so much to me and shows how far I've come in my career making women's hair dreams come true.
"It has brought my dreams to reality; getting recognised for all the hard work is just the most unreal experience.
"I can’t even begin to tell you all how happy this makes me. Thanks to everyone who voted and to all my brides and future brides; this is for you."
Elite wedding specialists and businesses were shortlisted as the 2023 finalists at The Northern Ireland Wedding Awards.
The black-tie ceremony took place on January 31 at Belfast's Europe Hotel, where top specialists and establishments that have gone above and beyond in the sector gathered to celebrate their achievements.
With more entries than ever before, the competition highlighted the amazing talent across the county and country.
The Northern Ireland Wedding Awards 2023 aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding industry that work towards making the big day as perfect as possible, including the caterers that provide delicious reception meals, decorators that take care of the wedding venues and add the glam in the room or florists that know how to make any wedding flourish.
The glamorous event saw numerous prestigious accolades awarded to the most deserving professionals that have gone the extra mile in the business and have seen amazing growth as a result.
