'Snow more cuts at the local station' - Save Radio Foyle Campaign.

Supporters of the Save Radio Foyle Campaign have called for "Snow more cuts at the local station".

Speaking to Derry Now, spokesperson, Davy McAuley explained: "The campaign to save Radio Foyle has been supported by every community in this city and now the snowpersons have had their say.

"Supporters of the campaign have been posting pictures and videos of their snow people holding signs in support of the under threat local station.

Save Radio Foyle snowperson has their say on controversial decision to axe Breakfast Show.

"Last week thousands of people took to social media to post their support for Radio Foyle using the hashtag #saveradiofoyle.

"The campaign has been endorsed by some famous names from the city. Soak, Roma Downey and Eamonn McCann were among those to post messages of solidarity.

"The campaign will continue until the BBC reverses its decision to remove local news services from BBC Radio Foyle," said Davy McAuley.
