Traffic at a standstill on A6 as heavy snow makes driving conditions difficult

Traffic at a standstill on the A6 outside Claudy.

Heavy snowfall is making driving conditions extremely difficult across County Derry.

Traffic is currently stationary on the A6 between Claudy and Drumahoe.

Other parts of the main road are also hazardous.

It is understood the 212 bus service between Derry and Belfast has also been affected by the weather conditions.

According to the MET Office, further snowfall is expected throughout the day.
