Cars abandoned at entrance to Cornshell Fields.
The freezing temperatures and snow caused chaos across the city on Monday evening.
A car careered into a house in Creggan Road and the area was cordoned off while the gas supply was inspected.
Motorists were also warned to avoid Bligh's Lane in the Lone Moor Road area of the city.
