Police appeal for information following Claudy hit-and-run road traffic collision

Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run road traffic collision which happened on the outskirts of Claudy earlier this week.

It is understood a Volkswagen car collided with two other vehicles on the Longland Road, close to the Sallowilly Road junction, at approximately 8.15pm on Monday, January 2.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "At this time a VW Jetta/ Bora/ Passat type vehicle collided with two other vehicles before making off from the scene causing damage and injuries.

"The vehicle is dark in colour, possibly bottle green and has a distinctive LED light bar on the roof."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police by calling 101 and quoting the reference 1574 of 2/1/23.
