Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper has welcomed reassurances from Habinteg Housing Association that a consultant will be employed to check issues around cracks appearing in brickwork in the Conars Court complex.

He said: “I welcome confirmation from Habinteg Housing Association that they will be bringing in a consultant to look at any structural issues there may be at Conars Court in Crawford Square.

"Residents have been concerned over recent times following cracks appearing in the plaster work there. I hope this work can be carried out as soon as possible and help put residents minds at ease."
