The PSNI have arrested four men after a car collided with a house in the Creggan area of Derry in the early hours of this morning.

Police received a report at around 1.30am that a car had collided with other vehicles and a house in the Ballymagowan Avenue of Derry and a disturbance had ensued.

The driver of the vehicle ploughed through a metal barrier at the front of the property (pictured above), before crashing into the house itself, damaging its brickwork.

The driver then reversed the car out of the garden and drove away.

As a result of the disturbance, a 23 year-old man was taken to hospital with serious assault injuries.

Four men were then arrested by police for alleged motoring and GBH offences.
