The former director of a Derry charity has pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of fraud and forgery at Derry Crown Court.
Eddie Kerr, 59, of Ashfield Terrace, denied four charges of forgery and seven charges of fraud.
He also denied using a false instrument with intent.
The alleged offences, which relate to applying for charity funding, are said to have taken place between February 2009 and March 2011.
Kerr stepped down last year as the director of the SEEDS charity, which was set up in 2005 to provide support for migrants who had moved into the local area.
The Derry News revealed a short time after he stepped down that the PSNI were investigating allegations of ‘financial irregularities’ at SEEDS.
The Crown Court heard that the trial will consist of mainly textual evidence and is expected to last around 10 days.
Kerr was released on continuing bail and the trial date has been set for March 26.
