Anne McCloskey (Independent)
Outspoken doctor Anne McCloskey enhanced her profile throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, repeatedly leading Covid-sceptic rallies and protests against lockdown restrictions.
Her campaigning resulted in her leaving Aontú, for whom she had been serving as a councillor on Derry City and Strabane District Council.
McCloskey polled 3,410 votes in the 2016 Assembly Election, but did not stand in the 2017 poll. She also polled 2,032 votes in the 2019 Westminster election.
