Rachael Ferguson (Alliance)
A relative newcomer to the political scene in Foyle, Rachael Ferguson first stood for election in 2019, where she polled fourth in the Faughan ward of Derry City and Strabane District Council.
After taking the seat, she stood for the Westminster election in December of 2019, where although failing to make much of an impact, she did increase the Alliance vote slightly.
A mother-of-two, she is also a director of the Tiny Tots community group and a board member of Strathfoyle Women's Activity Group.
