Ryan McCready (UUP)
A former DUP councillor who left the party in 2021 following the treatment of ex-party leader Arlene Foster, Ryan McCready subsequently joined the UUP.
He was elected as a councillor to Derry City and Strabane District Council in 2019, where he polled the second highest number of first preference votes in the Faughan electoral area.
Extremely active on social media, the 35-year-old is also a former soldier with the Royal Irish Regiment who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
