The Museum of Free Derry will screen the insightful new Irish documentary ‘It Stays With You’, this coming Wednesday 22 November at 6.30pm as part of Foyle Film Festival.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers Cathal McLaughlin and Siobhan Wills, alongside Paul O’Connor, Director of the Pat Finucane Centre for Human Rights.

The film examines events that took place between 2004 and 2007, when UN peacekeeping troops in Haiti, carried out raids that ultimately killed scores of civilians, including children, and left many more injured.

The documentary examines the impact of those raids on the community and how those affected have fared in the years since the killing raids.

‘It Stays With You’ will be shown at the Museum of Free Derry on Wednesday 22 November at 6.30pm. ADMISSION FREE. All Welcome.
