Portrush Music Society is thrilled to announce its 63rd and historic production, bringing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic masterpiece, "The Phantom of the Opera," to the stage at Coleraine Leisure Centre.
In an unprecedented move, the Leisure Centre will be magically transformed into the enchanting Paris Opera House for a week of mesmerizing performances from November 7 to 11.
Under the direction of the talented Kerry Kane, renowned for her creative vision and attention to detail, this production promises to transport the audience into the captivating world of the Paris Opera House. With Terry Cloughley as the Musical Director, audiences can expect a flawless orchestration of the iconic musical score, ensuring an unforgettable auditory experience.
Taking centre stage as the enigmatic Phantom is the exceptionally gifted Aidan Hughes, whose portrayal of this mysterious character is certain to send shivers down your spine. Opposite him, the enchanting Nuala Osborne steps into the role of Christine Daaé, bringing her unparalleled vocal and acting prowess to the character. Luke de Belder shines as Raoul, the handsome and heroic suitor vying for Christine’s affections, creating a compelling love triangle that adds depth to this timeless tale.
