David Graham inspired City of Derry to another important win as the green and blacks came from behind to win at Carrickfergus earlier today.

In the midst of an improved run of form, the only blip for Derry has been a 20-17 defeat to Carrick at Judges Road back in October, but there was to be no repeat today as Richard McCarter's side got the job done comfortably.

Despite falling behind to an early penalty, Derry had the lead by half time thanks to a try from Graham, who scored right in the corner after good pressure.

That lead was extended early in the second half when Graham intercepted a pass inside the Derry 22' and went on to score under the posts, with the conversion making it 12-3.

Derry's third try of the day soon followed when David Lapsley crossed over and another good conversion put the game beyond the hosts.

A late penalty sealed the deal for Derry who hope to break into the top four spot before Christmas.
