The League of Ireland has confirmed that Derry City’s highly anticipated home fixture against defending champions Shamrock Rovers will be broadcast live on Virgin Media Two as the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division title race intensifies.
The showdown at Celtic Park is set for Friday, April 24, and will now kick off at the revised time of 8.00pm.

The broadcast selection comes as significant infrastructure improvements begin at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.
Work has now got underway to replace the Brandywell’s 3G pitch with a £1.4m state-of-the-art hybrid grass surface.

The broadcast selection is part of a major April schedule for Virgin Media Television, which will also see Derry City travel to Dalymount Park to face Bohemians on Friday, May 1 (8.00pm).
Supporters are advised that almost all televised fixtures in April have been moved from the original 7.45pm slot to the new 8.00pm start time to accommodate live coverage.
