Derry City FC have confirmed the loan signing of goalkeeper Eddie Beach from Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 22-year-old arrives to provide immediate cover following a serious injury to first-choice goalkeeper Brian Maher, who is expected to be sidelined for approximately one month with a broken bone in his wrist sustained during a pre-season training camp in Spain.

Beach came through the Academy system at both Southampton and Chelsea, and made 20 appearances for Chelmsford City while on loan from Stamford Bridge.

Eddie signed a 2-year deal at Kilmarnock last summer and has made 8 first team appearances in the current season.

Beach is expected to be included in the squad for Friday night’s (February 20 2026) Premier Division clash against Bohemians at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium, pending international clearance.
