Team Ireland contested two finals on the last day of competition at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore coming out with two podium finishes to round off a very successful week.

Fenney's Dearhbhaile Brady was first up and added to her bronze medal from earlier in the week with a stunning silver in the S6 50m Butterfly.

This was Brady’s second World Championships and her first World Championship Medals.

Ní Riain followed her teammates medal winning performance by adding a fifth medal to her collection, bronze in the SM13 200m IM touching the wall in a time of 2:29.75

Speaking after the final about her five medal haul Ní Riain said: “To be honest that was my goal coming here, not a goal that I obviously told anyone but you know what I wanted to achieve coming here.

"The time there wasn’t the best but I suppose it’s just about learning to race all these events at a major like this.”
