Stars out for Felix Healy's Golf Classic at City of Derry

The sun was shining last week for the annual Felix Healy Golf Classic at the stunning City of Derry Golf Club, all in support of Children in Crossfire.

Football legends Martin O’Neill, John O’Neill, Stevie Lomas, Terry Harkin, and Barry Hunter (Liverpool FC’s Chief Scout) were in attendance and they, and every golfer who took part, helped make it a very memorable and special day.

Children In Crossfire are grateful to their sponsors who help them continue the important work they do, especially main sponsors, GMK Engineering and Jack Murphy Jewellers, whose generosity made this event possible.

A heartfelt thank you also to Christy Moore, Shay Given, and Barry Hunter for their incredible auction donations. Christy’s autographed guitar and handwritten lyrics to ‘North and South of the River’ (co-written with Bono and The Edge) were hot ticket items that helped us raise vital funds.

And of course, a very special thanks to Felix Healy himself, whose energy, effort, and passion continue to inspire.

The event raised over £19,500 - a fantastic result that will directly benefit children in Tanzania and Ethiopia through Children In Crossfire programmes.
