Kevin Deery has left Institute.

Kevin Deery and Institute have parted ways, the club has announced. 
The former Derry City midfielder spent two years in his second spell at the club and in his first season back in charge, he came within one game of leading 'Stute back to the top flight flight of Irish football, only to lose 2-1 on aggregate against Ballymena United in a promotion play-off. 
It has been much more difficult for Deery and his team since then, with some big names leaving the club, and the club just missed out on staying in the top half of the split. A strong finish to the season however, which brought three wins in the last three games, ensured that 'Stute finished top of the lower half of the split, with the 3-0 win at Newry on the final day of the season proving to be Deery's last game in charge. 
A club statement read: "Institute Football Club can confirm that the club has parted ways by mutual consent with Manager, Kevin Deery.
"We would like to sincerely thank Kevin for his hard work, dedication, and leadership during his time as our manager.
Kevin has been an important part of the club’s journey, and his contributions both on and off the pitch are greatly appreciated.
We wish Kevin all the best in his future endeavors and thank him once again for his service to the club."
