Head Coach Martin McLaughlin led by example, earning gold in the Male / Master 4 / Black Belt / Medium-Heavy division with a commanding performance.

Other standout results included: Owen Ward - Gold, Male / Master 1 / White Belt / Heavy; Francis McGirr - Bronze,Male / Master 1 / Blue Belt / Medium-Heavy; Michaela Doherty - Gold, Female / Master 1 / Blue Belt / Middle; Thomas McDermott - Gold, Male / Master 3 / Purple Belt / Light; Danny Lyttle - Gold / M5 / Medium Heavy; Sean Clarke - Bronze / M2 / Heavy.
The momentum didn't stop there. Emma McGlynn has had an impressive competition run so far this year, taking a medal in Milan back in March and securing another win at the Submission Series event in Newcastle, England. At the same event, Nathan McGillian turned heads with a dominant performance.
Closer to home, the team has also made a strong impact at recent events including Empire Grappling in Newry and the IBJJF Dublin Open, where a small but focused group of competitors performed exceptionally well.
