Rory Gallagher will not lead Derry into Sunday's Ulster final.
Rory Gallagher has stepped back from his role as Derry Senior Manager just two days before the Ulster final against Armagh.
A statement on behalf of Gallagher stated:
"I have advised Derry GAA that I am stepping back as Derry Senior football Manager with immediate effect. This decision is borne out of a desire to protect my children from the ongoing turmoil. They will always be my priority."
Ciaran Meenagh will assume the role of Derry senior football manager, beginning with Sunday's game.
