Witness appeal after hit-and-run on Derry's Spencer Road this morning

Police are keen to speak to the driver of a black BMW 3 series which was in the area at the time

Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run road traffic collision which took place outside licensed premises on Spencer Road, Derry today, Friday 9th December.

The collision took place around 9.40am and police are keen to speak to the driver of a black BMW 3 series which was in the area at the time.

A spokesperson said: "We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 622 09/12/22."
