Little Acorn’s Bookstore in Derry is promoting a free exclusive event for World Book Day.
The Bookshop of the Year in 2024, has taken to Facebook to share the chance for primary school teachers and home schooling parents across Northern Ireland to be part of this event.
The event is being led by Libraries NI, in collaboration with Libraries in Derry City and Strabane and The O’Brien Press, will be giving an exclusive online pre-recorded session for free, featuring award-winning author and illustrator Paddy Donnelly from Co Antrim.
Paddy will read from his best-selling & award-winning picture book, Fox & Son Tailers, published by The O'Brien Press, and one of the titles in the 2025 World Book Day (UK & Ireland) title selection, and guide a fun draw-a-long session.
The free event will take place on Thursday, March 6 via Zoom, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, with it being deemed suitable for Primary two, three and four.
