A man with an address at PSNI Maydown in Derry has been charged with the unlawful disclosure of data.

The case of William Roulston (57) with the address at Maydown PSNI, Maydown Road in Derry was mentioned at the local Magistrate's Court today.

He is charged with 'unlawfully or recklessly' viewed logs on a police database containing personal data without the permission of the data controller on October 27, 2019.

No details of the charge was given and Roulston did not appear in person. 

The case was adjourned for two weeks.
