Pat was Mayor of Derry for the year 1978-1979
Former Mayor of Derry, Pat Devine, has sadly passed away today aged 95 (Thursday May 18).
He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Devine and father of the late Jackie and Tommy.
Mr Devine is survived by his children; Paddy, Eddie, Sheena, Katrina, Frankie, Pauline, Elizabeth, Freda, Tracey, Anthony, and his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be from his home, 10 Rathlin Gardens, Creggan on Saturday at 9.30 am for 10 am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The family please request time from 10 pm to 11 am.
Pat was an SDLP Councillor and Mayor of Derry for the year 1978-1979.
