A 50 years old Derry man has pleaded guilty at Derry Crown Court to a number of charges linked to a crossbow and arrow attack on his neighbour's home in the Foyle Road area of the city just over two years ago.
At his re-arraignment before Judge Philip Babington Brian Gerald Forbes, from Glenanne in the Brandywell area, admitted charges he'd originally denied.
He also pleaded guilty threatening to kill his neighbour, causing criminal damage to the front door and front window of his neighbour's home and guilty to possessing weapons, namely an axe and a crossbow with arrows with intent to commit an indictable offence. He pleaded guilty to committing the offences on January 3, 2017.
Hefurther admitted a new charge of assaulting the neighbour whose home he attacked.
He will be sentenced for the offences on 20 June 10 following the preparation of a pre-sentence report and the defendant was released on continuing bail until that date.
