A range of projects from across Derry have been awarded £58,340 in funding by the Big Lottery Fund's Awards for All programme.
The Clooney Estate Residents Association have been awarded £8,380.
The community group works in the Clooney estate in Derry. They are using the grant to provide a range of activities for local people and will also link up with other community associations from the greater Waterside area.
Craigbane Hall have been awarded £10,000.
The Co Derry hall provides a community venue and activities for the local area. The volunteer committee who run it are using the grant to improve facilities and provide activities including dance, yoga, Pilates and cookery classes, social activities and a first aid course for local people.
Foyle Parents and Friends Association have been awarded £10,000.
The group supports people with disabilities by offering health, wellbeing and educational activities and support. The project is using the grant to run a four week summer programme of activities, day trips and respite for young people and adults with learning disabilities.
Greater Glen Women's Group have been awarded £10,000.
The Derry group offers activities and events for local women. They are using the grant for a range of health and wellbeing sessions, a craft course, a residential, equipment and a celebration event.
Hope Derry have been awarded £9,962.
The group supports young people in Derry. They are using the grant to run a two week summer camp for young people including training in personal and social skills, environment awareness, good relations and social activities.
Finally, Oakgrove Integrated Primary School has been awarded £9,998.
The primary school is using the grant to install a new outdoor Trim Trail for use by pupils and the wider community.
