Mayor Ruairí McHugh met with local health professionals and recycling officers to highlight sustainable and cost-effective choices for local families
The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane, Councillor Ruairí McHugh, joined health professionals and community advocates at the Derry Well Women Centre this week to celebrate and promote Reusable Nappy Week. The special event served as a central hub for families looking to explore sustainable, cost-effective alternatives to disposable nappies.

Reusable Nappy Week features a diverse programme of awareness-raising activities and advocacy focused on helping families learn more about sustainable nappy choices.
Throughout the week, parents and carers have been finding out more about the many advantages of reusable nappies, including how to get started, where to purchase them, and how to take part in local and events.
