A young Derry woman hopes to be swept off her feet this weekend when she takes her place on ITV's popular dating show, Take Me Out.
Gemma Elliot will take her place among 30 fellow contestants on Saturday’s edition of the programme, where the 22 year-old will be doing her best to impress the prospective suitors, and win a date to the island of Fernando’s.
Speaking to the Derry News ahead of Saturday’s show, Gemma, from the Bishop Street area and currently studying economics and financing at Leeeds University, told of her experience from first applying for the show to eventually taking her place amongst the 30 hopefuls.
