Margaret Ann Hamilton (née Kilgore), 54 Lisdillon Road, Ardmore

The death has taken place of Margaret Ann Hamilton (née Kilgore), 20th December 2022, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by her loving family in her 78th year) dearly loved wife of the late George Ellis, precious mother of Jacqueline, loving sister of Robert, David and the late Barbara, a dear aunt. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home 54 Lisdillon Road BT47 3RL on Friday 23rd December at 1.00pm followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to W.H.& S.C.T. Altnagelvin Hospital Ward 26 ( Respiratory Unit ) or Versus Arthritis c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director,24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Very deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by her entire family circle  God’s garden must be beautiful, he only picks the best.

 

Phyllis Hamilton (née Lynch), 9 Eastway Road, Derry

The death has taken place of Phyllis Hamilton (née Lynch), 21st December 2022, beloved wife of the late Harry, 9 Eastway Road, loving mother of Colm, Mary, Colette and Martin, mother-in-law of Vivienne, Des, Gerard and Sharon, devoted grandmother of Devany, Rebecca, Erinn, Aoife, Oisin, Lorcan, Harry and Charlie and dear sister of Willie, Ruby, Mary, Gretta and the late Tommy, Albert, Claire and Bernadette. Phyllis’ wake will take place in her home on Thursday and Friday from 12noon to 11.00pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.35am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers if wished to Marie Curie C/o Mrs Joan Doherty, 20 Dunhugh Park, Victoria Road, Derry, BT47 2AL. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Eamonn Cathal Heaney, 50 Church Hill Road, Ballykelly

The death has occurred of Eamonn Cathal Heaney (Ballykelly), 20th December 2022, (suddenly) at his home, 50 Church Hill Road, Ballykelly, beloved son of Helen and Martin, brother of Orrin, much loved father of Eden, Noah And Roma: very dear grandson of Mary and the late Harry McCloskey, and the late Bill and Eileen Heaney and a dearly loved nephew and cousin. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Samuel William (Sam) McMullan, 118 Shanreagh Park, Limavady

The death has taken place of Samuel William (Sam) McMullan, 20th December 2022 (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, dearly beloved husband of Lena, 118 Shanreagh Park, Limavady and dearest brother of Claire and Vi. Funeral Service in Drumachose Presbyterian Church on Friday at 1.30pm followed by interment in Aghadowey Presbyterian Churchyard at 2.45pm. House private. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to Cancer Research c/o James McMullan and Son, 22 High Street, Ballymoney, BT53 6AQ. Lovingly remembered by his sorrowing wife and entire family circle.

 

Helena McVeigh, 'Daisyville' 27 Park Avenue, Derry

The death has taken place of Helena McVeigh, 20th December 2022, late of 'Daisyville' 27 Park Avenue, Derry, (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Dermot, loving mother of Simon (Eimear) and David (Sara), daughter of the late Michael and Marie and dear sister of Fr Joe, Resa (Christy), Pauline (Jim), Michael ( Kitty ) and the late Bridget-Marian. Reposing at her late home on Wednesday from 5.00pm to 9.00pm and Thursday from 2.00pm to 9.00pm. Removal on Friday at 11o’clock for 12midday Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Ardmore, Derry. Interment afterwards to Ardmore Cemetery. Sadly missed by her husband Dermot, Sons Simon and David, sisters, brothers, grandchildren Fionn, Oisin and Lachlann, daughters in law,neices, nephews, relatives and friends. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Cruse Bereavement Care Sperrin Room and Foyle Hospice, c/o Jim Barnett Funeral Director, Mill Street, Irvinestown or any family member. Family Time please only on morning of funeral to family and friends.

 

James H. Ritchie, 25 Fortsandel Avenue, Coleraine

The death has occurred and James H. Ritchie, 21st December 2022, (peacefully) at hospital, 25 Fortsandel Avenue, Coleraine. Dearly beloved husband of the late Kathleen, much loved father of Carolanne, Maria and Ryan, grandfather of Curtis, Ryan, Madison and Ben. House private. Graveside service at Portstewart Cemetery on Saturday at 11.00am. Helen Tosh (née Patton), 10 Wheatfield Crescent, Coleraine

The death has taken place of Helen Tosh (née Patton), 20th December 2022, (peacefully) at home, 10 Wheatfield Crescent, Coleraine, beloved wife of Gary, dear mother of Laura and Ashley, much loved nana of Ryan, Mia, Ava, Reuben and Daniel, loving sister of Liam, Marie, Kate, Paula and James. Funeral from her home on Friday at 1.00pm to St Malachys Church for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if wished, by making cheques payable to Macmillan Cancer Support c/o Ms Charlene Wade, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1BF. Deeply regretted by the family circle.
