BARR (nee Mulhern), Kathleen - 11th March 2022 - beloved wife of the late William, 26 Curlew Way, loving mother of Joseph, Matthew, William, Martina, John and the late David, mother-in-law of Dorothy and Colm, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Isobel, Ann, Helen, Betty and the late David, Frances and Teresa. Funeral from her home on Monday at 11o’clock for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

CONWAY, John (J.C) - 11th March 2022 - (suddenly), late of 8 Altinure Cottages, Park, Co Derry. Beloved son of the late Edward and Mary R.I.P, deeply regretted by Marie, loving father of Caroline, Shaun, Elaine, Denise, and Ann Marie, father in law of Terry, Lynda, Sean, Eoin and Mark, dear grandfather of Ruairí, Conor, Shea, Caragh, Chloe, Eimear, Adam, Luke, Aaron, Antonio, and Daniel, dear brother of Kathleen, Jim and Margaret. Wake and funeral arrangements later. St Padre Pio pray for him.

 

MURDOCH (nee Carleton), Mary Jane - 6th March 2022 - (peacefully) at Brooklands Care Home, Magherafelt in her 99th year, beloved wife of the late David Murdoch, Kilwinning, Ayrshire, loving sister of the late Robert, Susan, Ina, Tommy, Florence and baby Doreen. Interment in Kilwinning Cemetery on Thursday, 17th March at 1.30pm, preceded by 12.30pm service in The Congregational Church, Woodwynd, Ayrshire, Scotland, KA13 7AB. Donations if desired please, made payable to Holmes of Dungannon, Tyrone House, 2 Ballygawley Road, Dungannon BT0 1EL, for The Salvation Army & St. Matthias Church, Ballyeglish. Fondly remembered with love and affection by her sisters Evelyn Hildebrandt, Vancouver; Muriel Colvin, Ballindrum, Moneymore; Doreen Smyth, Antrim. Also nieces and nephews and all the extended family circle.

 

NORRIS, Margaret (Rita) - 10th February 2022 - (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital after a short illness. Known to many as Sister Norris, only daughter of the late Ernie and Martha, beloved sister of Bill, Ernie and the late Jack, cherished sister-in-law of Anne, Linda and Maudie and a much-loved aunt, cousin and friend. The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the kind and caring staff at Cornfield Care Centre, and in particular the staff in Kingfisher who looked after Rita so lovingly during her time with them, as well as the magnificent staff in Resus and Ward 40 of Altnagelvin Hospital. Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Rita will take place today (Sunday) at 2.15pm at Limavady Free Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in the family plot at Limavady Reformed Presbyterian Church, Greystone Road, Limavady. No flowers please at her own request. Donations in lieu, if desired, by cheque payable to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Industrial Estate, Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her sorrowing family circle.

 

RITCHIE, Walter - 11th March 2022 - (suddenly) at his home 20 Gortenanima, Limavady, beloved father of Rachel, and Alexander, and a much loved grandfather, son of the late Robert and Mary, dear brother of Victor, Ernest, Robin, Tommy, Linda, Margaret, Ivan, Raymond, Ronnie, and Marina, a much loved uncle and great-uncle. House private please. Funeral from his home on Monday, 14th March at 12.25pm for service at 1.00pm in Drumachose Presbyterian Church Limavady followed by interment in Enagh Cemetery Limavady.
