BARR, Mary Ann Barr (née Doherty) - 6th January 2015. Peacefully at her home, 4 Brentwood Park, Foyle Springs, (formerly of Inishowen Gardens). Beloved wife of Patrick (Paddy), loving mother of Majella, Paul, Siobhan and Dominic, dear daughter of the late Dominic and Marry Ann, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday the 10th inst. at 9:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty, for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. OLPHERT, Margaret (Margie) - 7th January 2015, at her home, 22 Clements Court, Waterside, after a short illness courageously borne, dearly loved wife of the late Samuel Olphert, devoted mum to Pat, Hazel, Roslyn, Irene and the late Andrena and dear mother-in law of Colin, John, Malcolm and the late Raymond, adored granny of Alison, Jonathan, Andrena, Graeme, Kathryn, Philip, Andrew, Lynsey, Lisa, Jamie and the late Stephen and Mark, loving great-granny to Harry, Emmy, Lucy, Jack, Ben, Katie, Charlie, Shelby, Jake, Ryan, Oscar, Luke and the late Emily. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, 10th January at 12.30 p.m for 1 o’ clock service at St. Augustine’s Church, Palace Street, followed by burial at Altnagelvin Cemetery. SIMPSON, William Joseph (Joe) - passed away peacefully on 7th January 2015, formerly of 5 Hollymount Park and Bond Street, beloved husband of Rosaleen, loving father of Brian and Bernadette, much loved grandfather of Conal, Euan, Noah and also David and Caoimhe and dear father- in-law of Fionnuala. His remains are reposing at Cornfields Care Home, Seacoast Road, Limavady, until removal to St. Columb’s Church, Waterside, Derry, tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 o’clock followed by interment in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
