MACKLE, Sarah (nee Ward) - Castledawson 31st May 2017 peacefully at her home. Sarah R.I.P. beloved wife of Henry and loving mother of Mary (Purvis), Ann and Catherine, mother in law of Johnny and grandmother of Alice, Róisín, Áine, Danielle and Rebecca. Dear sister of Frank and the late Elizabeth, Margaret, MaryAnn, John, Willie and Patsy. Funeral from her home 135 Hillhead Road, Castledawson on Saturday 3rd June at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St Trea Newbridge, Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law Mary, nieces Martina, Imelda, nephew Damian and extended family circle. DOHERTY, Joan (née Gillen) - May 31st 2017 peacefully at Cregagh Nursing Home, Belfast. Formerly of 50 Station Road, Portstewart. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Doherty, loving mother to Dominic, Teresa, Sarah and Paul. We softened up your pillows and tried to ease the pain,  we prayed to God in Heaven to make you well again, then we heard God's whisper, "I'll take you in My care,  for in this world of suffering, she's really had her share". Waked at Wade's Chapel of Rest, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine. Leaving there at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass on Saturday June 3rd in Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart, followed by burial in Agherton Cemetery, Portstewart. R.A.F. - May 30, 2017, peacefully, at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness in his 63rd year, formerly of 18 Glenbank Park (The Glen), much-loved and devoted son of Margaret (Aimee) and the late George Edward (Ivan), precious brother of Anne, David and Eileen, loving brother-in-law of Oliver, Victor and Eileen, cherished uncle and great-uncle. Funeral leaving his sister Dawn’s home 1A, Gortmore Place, Strathfoyle on Sunday at 1.30pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in All Saints Clooney Parish Church at 2.00pm burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. BLACKWELL, Edward (Ted) - passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, devoted husband of Anna, 24 Thorndale, Ballyarnett, loving father of Christine (Morgan) and son-in-law Danny, Yvonne and partner Lexie, Julie (McMonagle) and son-in-law Tony, dear grandfather of Danielle, Christopher, Amanda, David, Ryan, Jason, Rebecca and Fiona and great grandfather of Ava and Oscar. Ted’s remains are be reposing at his daughter Julie's home, 115 Templegrove, Buncrana Road, Derry for Prayer Service on Friday evening at 8.30pm. Cremation will take place at a later date. Family time please between 10.30pm and 11am. Family flowers only please.
