Thomas (Tommy) Stewart, 16 Knockavoe Crescent, Strabane (Formerly of Dunmore Gardens, Derry)
The death has taken place of the late Thomas (Tommy) Stewart, March 15 2026, at Melmount Manor, late of 16 Knockavoe Crescent, Strabane and formerly of Dunmore Gardens, Derry. Beloved husband of Patricia, much loved father of Tracy, father-in-law of Kevin, dearly loved grandfather of Ryan, Aaron, Gavin
and the late baby Conor and brother of Cathleen, Stephen, Billy and the late John. Reposing at his home. Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday (March 17) at 12.40pm for Requiem Mass in St Mary`s Church, Melmount at 1.15pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandsons , brothers, sister and family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Dennett Unit, Melmount Manor, c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, Newtown Place, Strabane. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Ellen Jane (Helen Wilson (née Chambers), March 15 2026, (peacefully) at Milesian Manor Care Home, dearly beloved wife of the late Billy, 10 Ballyriff Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted mother of Yvonne, Joyce, David and Derek, dear mother-in-law of Will and Julie, loving granny of Steven, Jonathan, Andrew, Elaine, Leanne, Sarah, Louise, Stephanie, Claire and Rachel, also a cherished great-granny and dearest sister of John, Harold and the late Amy, Freda, Joyce, and Grenville. House strictly private. Family and Friends welcome at Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Tuesday evening (March 17) from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Funeral service in Woodschapel Parish Church on Wednesday (March 18) at 2:00pm followed by a private committal in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please.
