Daniel (Danny) Kelly, 9 Tullanee Road, Eglinton

The death has taken place of Daniel (Danny) Kelly, January 10 2026, beloved husband of Susan, 9 Tullanee Road, Eglinton, loving father of Steve (Kerry) and Phil (Aisling) and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Danny's remains will be reposing in his home on Monday from 12noon - 9.00pm. Funeral from his home on Tuesday at 11.30am for 12o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only . Edith Law, Belfast (Formerly of Coleraine)

The death has occurred of the late Edith Law – 10th January 2026 – peacefully in hospital, 8 Bloomfield Park, Belfast, formerly of Windsor Avenue, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late George, loving mother of Donna, Margaret, Garth and the late Avril, mother-in-law of Vera, much loved grandmother of Simon, Jonny, Ashleigh, Chelsea, Rachel, and Shannon, and a great-grandmother, sister of Helen, Ruby, Billy, Jack and the late Ken and Bertha. House private. Thanksgiving service in First Coleraine Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 1.30pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Joseph (Joe) McElroy, 7 Mount Pleasant, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Joseph (Joe) McElroy, January 10 2026, beloved husband of Ann, loving father of Ann-Marie and Eimear, father-in-law of Shane, devoted grandfather of Matthew and Ciaran, dear brother of the late Michael and Eamon and a much loved uncle. His remains will be reposing in his home, 7 Mount Pleasant, on Monday from 2.00pm - 8.00pm and Tuesday from 12noon - 8.00pm.   Funeral from there on Wednesday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to St Vincent de Paul c/o Steelstown Parish Office,  11 Steelstown Road, BT48 8EU. Rita McGurk (née O’Neill), 20 Golf Terrace, Magherafelt

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Rita McGurk (née O’Neill), January 10 2026, beloved wife of Michael, 20 Golf Terrace, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth and dear sister of Joan (Mallon), Colette (O’Kane), Una (Convery), Dympna (Devlin), Brian, Raymond and the late John, Kathleen, Pauline, Christopher, Tony, Maureen and Pat-Joe, sister in law of Eugene, Margaret and the late Dympna Kelly. Requiem Mass on Monday, January 12 2026 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, interment afterwards in Cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his Soul. Deeply regretted by her husband, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Pauline McLarnon (née McNally), 41 Leitrim Road, Castledawson

The death has taken place of Pauline McLarnon (née McNally) (Hillhead), January 10 2026, wife of James and devoted mother to Sally, Pauline, James, Beth, Patricia and Hugh, loving sister of Betty, Kathleen, Joe, Hughie, Mary, John and the late Terry, Felix and Pat. Funeral from her home 41 Leitrim Road on Monday 12th January 2026 at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St Mary Bellaghy, via webcam St Mary Bellaghy, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandson, sisters in law, her many nieces and nephews and extended family circle. House Strictly Private.

 

Frankie Stanton-Brennick, 9 Rathmore Park, Derry

The death has taken place of Frankie Stanton-Brennick, January 10 2026, peacefully at his home, 9 Rathmore Park, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, (formerly of Port, Glasgow), beloved husband of Ann, loving father of Mena, Teresa, Raymond, Sean and Frankie. A devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother of Hugh, Marie, Marion and his deceased brothers and sisters and a caring father-in-law and uncle. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and all his friends. Frankie will be reposing at his daughter Teresa’s home, 10 Northland Parade, on Monday from 12:00noon to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving 10 Northland Parade on Tuesday 13th January at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
