The death has taken place of Paddy Bell, January 2 2026, Suddenly at home. Loving son of Rosaleen and the late Lornie. Dear Brother of Damien, Laura, Christina, Natasha and Daniel. Paddy will repose at his mother's home, 162 Clon Elagh. Funeral from there on Wednesday, January 7 at 9:20am to Saint Mary's Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul.

Colm Doherty, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Colm Doherty, December 31 2025, peacefully at his home, loving father of Emma and Ed, and their partners Graham and Claire, devoted grandfather of Aoife and dear brother of Ryma, Finola, Eileen and the late Daniel, John and Gerry. Dermot Gallagher, 5 Moat Street, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Dermot Gallagher, January 2 2026, peacefully at Foyle Hospice, beloved husband of Carol, loving father of Éimhear, Fionn, Éabha and the late baby Órla, devoted grandfather of Cadán, dear son of Mary and the late Paddy, cherished brother of Seamus and Moira. Loved and will be sadly missed by Riley, his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Dermot will be reposing at his home, 5 Moat Street. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, January 5 at 11:00am to St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 12noon.
