It is with regret we announce the passing of William Stewart (Bill) Lowry, December 19 2025, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital, 8 Belvedere Park, Castlerock. Dearly loved husband of the late Violet, loving brother of Daphne and Sandra, brother-in-law of Michael and uncle of Annabel and James, and dear partner of Carol. Funeral service in Christ Church, Castlerock on Saturday, December 27 at 11.00am followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Service of Thanksgiving in D & R Hay & Sons, Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry on Wednesday, December 24 at 10.00am, followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Kathleen McCloskey (née Kennedy), Roe Mill Road, Limavady
The death has taken place of Kathleen McCloskey (née Kennedy), December 22 2025, peacefully at home, beloved wife of Paddy, Roe Mill Road, Limavady and formerly of Churchill, Co Donegal, loving mother of Siobhan, Patricia, Sean, Noeleen, Maureen and the late Eamon and Mary, mother-in-law of Ian, Oliver, Fiona and the late Victor, devoted grandmother of Lauren, Ryan, Phelim, Cara, Orlaith, Sinead, Michael and the late Niamh and dear sister of Pat, Winnie and Grace. House strictly private please. Funeral from her home on Wednesday at 1.40pm for 2o'clock Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Limavady. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death has taken place of Anna Elizabeth McDowell (née Paul), December 23 2025, (peacefully) at her home, 48 Brackaghreilly Road, Maghera, dearly beloved Wife of the late Harold, much loved Mother of Sharon, Christine and the late Caroline and Pauline, a loving Mother-in-Law of Peter and Everett, devoted Granny of Chloe (Graeme), Leah, Nathan, Christopher and Emma and dearest Sister of Margaret, Hugh, Florence, Robert, Thomas, Irene, Isobel and the late Iris, Gretta and infant Sadie. All welcome at the Family home on Wednesday (December 24) from 2:00pm - 9:00pm and on Thursday (December 25) and Friday (December 26) from 4:00pm - 9:00pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Anna’s Life will take place in Tobemore Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 27 at 1:00pm, followed by burial in Tobermore Presbyterian Cemetery.
