Maureen Cullen (née McGonagle), 24 Leenan Gardens, Creggan, Derry

Maureen Cullen (née McGonagle), December 20 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of the late William (Dot). Loving mother of Marlene, Sandra, Caroline, and the late Kathy and Billy. R.I.P. A much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Daughter of the late Michael and Matilda R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Wake will commence today (Sunday) at 11.00am. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am please. Funeral from her home: 24 Leenan Gardens, Creggan, Derry on Tuesday, December 23 at 9.30am for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Creggan at 10am followed by interment in City Cemetery. Brian O'Donnell, 28 Lisnarea Avenue, Kingsfort, Derry

The death has taken place of Brian O'Donnell, December 19 2025, peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family, at his home, 28 Lisnarea Avenue, Kingsfort, (formerly of Lecky Road), beloved husband of Lilian, cherished brother of Eamonn, Monica and the late Frank, Kevin and Mary and a devoted uncle and great-uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Brian will be reposing at his home on Sunday from 12:00noon to 9:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, December 22 at 9:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
