Doctor Gareth David Addidle, England (Formerly of Tobermore)

The death has occurred of the late Doctor Gareth David Addidle, December 3 2025 (suddenly) at his home in England, formerly of Tobermore, much loved Son of David and Elaine, Moneymore, devoted Dad of Lillie and Logan, loving Grandson of Meta and the late John Donaghy and the late Marshall and Betty Addidle and a dearly loved Nephew and Cousin. David and Elaine's home strictly private. Wake and Funeral arrangements later. Forever loved and sadly missed by his sorrowing Parents, Children, Grandmother and the entire Family Circle.

The death has occurred of the late Annie Louise (Louie) Caskey (née Rainey), December 3 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly loved Wife of the late Ronnie, 12 Cherryvale Avenue, Desertmartin, much loved Mother of David and Susan, a dear Mother-in-Law of Diane and Ciaran, devoted Grandmother of Emily, Adam, Hannah and Alice and dearest Sister of Thelma, Robert and Elaine. Mary Donnelly (née Quigley), 11 Iniscarn Road, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Donnelly (née Quigley), peacefully at her home on December 3 2025. Late of 11 Iniscarn Road and formerly of 19 Rathlin Gardens. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Sammy. Devoted mother of Brendan, Paul, Brian, Seamus, Sean, Peter, Antoinette, Noel, Margaret and the late David. A much loved mother in-law. Loving granny to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Peggy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Mary’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 11 Iniscarn Road. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, December 5 at 9:30am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Thomas (Tommy) Grumley, 3 Glasgow Terrace, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Thomas (Tommy) Grumley, December 2 2025, peacefully at his home, 3 Glasgow Terrace, (formerly of Dunmore Gardens), beloved husband of the late Annie, loving father of Terence, Sean, Stephen, Mark and the late Paul and baby Kim, dear father-in-law to Bernadette, Donna and Maria, devoted grandfather of Kevin, Conal, Rachel, Lee, Maria and Micheál and great-grandfather of Cora, Fiadh, Miles, Izzy and Zach, dear son of the late Thomas and Kathleen, cherished brother of Gerald, Susie and the late Lily and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Tommy will be reposing at his home. House Private From 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving his home on Friday, December 5 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Margaret Johnston (née Laverty), Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Margaret Johnston (née Laverty), December 1 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, dearly loved wife of the late Desmond (Dessie), loving mother of Christopher, Gavin, Aaron, Brandon and the late Ryan, much loved grandmother of Patrick, Luan, Eli, Donovan, Dylan, Daniel, Niamh and Ella, loving sister of Billy, Annette, Sheila and the late Joe and Jimmy. Service of celebration in Killowen Parish Church on Wednesday, December 10 at 11.00am followed by cremation in Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium at 2.00pm. Please wear bright colours. Family and friends are welcome to call at Wades Funeral Home during office hours and on Friday from 7.00pm - 9.00pm to pay their respects. Flowers welcome. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Teresa Kealey (née O’Donnell), peacefully at home on December 2 2025, may she rest in peace. Late of 47 Lackagh Park, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Patrick RIP. Loving mother of Teresa (Terence RIP), Susanne (Sean), Edward ( Bridget), Patrick (Bernie), Eugene (Joanne), Seamus (Caroline), Damien (Annemarie) and Sylvia (Eamon). Daughter of the late Hugh and Ann Jane RIP and dear sister of Joe and the late Hugh, Mary, John, Sam, Suzanna, James,Tommy and infant Philomena R.I.P. A devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Reposing at her late home. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Friday, December 5 2025 leaving her late home 10.10am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Dungiven, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has taken place of the late John Herbert (Bertie) Long, December 2 2025, peacefully at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by his loving family in his 82nd year) much loved dad of Gary, Darren, Kendra, Ryan and Christopher, loving father-in-law of Millie, Carolina, Mark, Alison and Mia, adored granda of Cassandra, Nicole, Vida, Isaac, Karl, Kelsey Erin, Bredin, Jack and the late Jacqueline a dear brother of Cecil and the late Jean and Raymond and ex-wife Joyce. Funeral leaving his late home, 49 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings on Friday, December 5 at 12.15pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Glendermott Parish Church at 1.00pm, burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired (cheques made payable) to Foyle Hospice c/o Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry BT48 6JE. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home on Thursday from 2.00pm until 8.00pm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his many friends and entire family circle. “Peacefully sleeping free from all pain, we wouldn’t awake you to suffer again”

 

Rose Teresa (Roisin) McGowan (née Doherty), Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Rose Teresa (Roisin) McGowan (née Doherty), December 1 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Seven Oaks, Care Home, (formerly of Stanleys Walk, Bishop Street and Barrack Street), beloved wife of the late Eddie, loving mother of Moia, John, Eamonn and Roisin, dear mother-in-law to Raymond, Stephen, Bridgeen and Deborah and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Doherty, cherished sister of the late Phyllis, Moya, Liam, Seamus, Sean, John-Francis and Mary Bridget and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving 71 Elmvale on Thursday, December 4 at 11:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Norman McMullan, 10 Cairnmount Park, Coleraine

Funeral arrangements for the late Norman McMullan, passed away December 2 2025, peacefully at hospital, late of 10 Cairnmount Park, Coleraine. Dearly loved husband of the late Phyllis and loving father of Derek and Heather, father-in-law of Bernie and Glen, much loved grandfather of Ben and Corey, Shannon and Finlay and great-granda of Jasper, dear brother of David. Funeral from his home on Saturday at 11.00am for service in St John’s Parish Church at 11.30am followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Clare Screeton (née McNulty), Warrington, England (Formerly of 9 Woodside Road, Derry)

The death has taken place of Clare Screeton (née McNulty), November 7 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Warrington, England and formerly of 9 Woodside Road. Beloved wife of Glen, loving mother of Tom, Leah and Lucas. Cherished daughter of Harry and the late Susie McNulty, much loved sister of Aisling, Patricia and Bridgeen, very special aunt to Róisín, Hannah, Ciara, Aaron, Orlaith, Oisin, Harry and Fionn and a much loved sister-in-law, niece, cousin and friend. Everyone is welcome to attend the committal service in Ballyoan Cemetery on Monday, December 8 2025 at 10.15am. Sr Clare pray for her.
