The death has taken place of Una Devine (née Doherty), November 20 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late Frankie, 180 Strabane Old Road, loving mother of Kevin, Colette, Oonagh and Geraldine, mother-in-law of Siobhan, Dónal, Gerry and Gavin, devoted grandmother of Órán, Lauren, Níamh, Mícheál, Eamonn, Aóife, Grace, Lorcán and Frankie and dear sister of Lily and the late Bertie, Fonsy, Josephine and Noel. Una’s remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.45am for 10.15am funeral Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Kathleen (Paddie) Hennessey (née Mulholland), Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Kathleen (Paddie) Hennessey (née Mulholland), November 20 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, loving mother of Aislinn, Seamus, Sean, Coilin, Ciaran and the late Brendan, mother-in-law of Phil, Kristin, Jen, Nikkole and Brittany, a devoted grandmother and dear sister of Sallyann, Don and the late Aidan, Brendan, Billy, Jimmy, Una, Mary, Sally and Bracan. Her remains will be reposing in her sister’s home, 55 Mullenan Road, BT48 9XW, from 6 pm on Friday. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.20 am for 10 o’clock funeral Mass in St Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Peter Hoctor, 51 Ederowen Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Peter Hoctor, November 20 2025, peacefully at his home, 51 Ederowen Park, beloved husband of Bernadette, loving father of Ashley and the late Hayley, dear son of the late John and Eileen, cherished brother of Stephen, David, Pauline, Sandra, Helen and the late Ann, a dear son-in-law, brother-in-law and a caring uncle to his nephews and nieces. Loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle, friends and neighbours. Peter will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and on Sunday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Funeral leaving there on Monday, November 24 at 9:30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

Mary McGrogan (née McErlean), 142 Creagh Road, Castledawson

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mary McGrogan (née McErlean) (Newbridge), November 20 2025, beloved wife of Eugene and loving mother of Sinead Tribello (Gareth), Sean (Natasha), Anne De-Nasri (Sebastien) and Damian, daughter of the late John and Sheila McErlean and dear sister of Sean, Philip, Dympna (McErlain), Anthony, Martin and Geraldine (Hanova). Funeral from her home, 142 Creagh Road, Castledawson on Monda, 24th November 24 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in the Church St Trea, Newbridge via webcam @ Church of St. Trea . Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, their partners, grandson Caodhan, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. The wake for Mary will commence at 1.00pm on Saturday, November 22 2025.

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Sean Murphy, suddenly but peacefully, at Cornfield Care Home on  November 21 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of Bradagh Fold and Teeaven Road, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved son of the late Susan and John RIP. Loving brother of Anne Marie, Kate, Patsy, Bernie, Martin and Mickey. Beloved wife of the late Louie and loving mother of Anne, Joy, William, Geoffrey, Karl and Jennifer. A dear mother-in-law and devoted grandmother and great grandmother.
