Josie Hamilton (née O'Neill), Ballymaguigan

The death has taken place of Josie Hamilton (née O'Neill), November 18 2025, Beloved wife of the late Jim, sister of the late Nellie Shaw, Peg Rocks, Lil McErlain, Jim, Mick, Esther Cassidy and Barney, Aunt, Great Aunt, cousin and friend of many. Funeral from her nephew Michael Cassidy’s home, 21 Barrack Road, Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt BT45 6LY on Friday, November 21 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in the Church St Trea, Newbridge. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her Soul. Our Blessed Lady intercede for her. There will be a shuttle service from St Trea school carpark from 6.30pm to 10.00pm.

 

Irene Annie Moore, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Irene Annie Moore, November 18 2025, (peacefully) at The Cottage Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Alwyn and dear sister of the late Lily, Meta, Harry and Jim. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Frances and all her nephews and nieces. Also, sadly missed by the staff and residents of The Cottage Care Home. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2A Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Friday, November 21 at 11.30am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

 

Louise Shiels (née McElhinney), 7 Ramore Gardens, Creggan, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Louise Shiels (née McElhinney), suddenly but peacefully, at home on November 17 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 7 Ramore Gardens, Creggan, Derry. Beloved wife of John and devoted mother of Thomas. Loving daughter of John and the late Margaret RIP and dear sister of Laura, John and Damien. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Funeral from her late home on Friday, November 21 leaving her late home at 9.15am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church Creggan, interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Marie Spellman (née Doherty), 9 Bayswater, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Marie Spellman (née Doherty), November 17 2025, peacefully at Belfast City Hospital, beloved wife of Brian, loving mother of Tom, Brian, Paddy-Ann and Conal, devoted grandmother of Chloe, Cillian, Noah, Fionn and Aodhan and dear sister of Kevin, Peter and Shaun. Marie’s remains will be reposing in her home, 9 Bayswater, from 1.00pm – 9.00pm on Thursday. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Waterside on Friday at 10o’clock. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
