It is with deep regret and sorrow we announce the passing of Audrey Boyle (née Thom), October 23 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved wife of Thomas, 40 Cloverhill Road, Moneymore, much loved and devoted mother of Amanda, Nichola and Adrian, dear mother-in-law of Allister and Alannha, cherished granny of Luke, David, Tyler, William, Andrea, Lauren and Eva, loving great-granny of Lincoln and the late Reuben, dearest sister of Winston, Edwin and the late James, Maurice, Vernon, Elizabeth, George, Annie and special aunt of Nigel. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Friday evening (October 24) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Funeral service in Desertcreat Parish Church on Saturday (October 25) at 1:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Desertcreat Parish Church Building Fund payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c). Lovingly remembered by her family and the entire family circle. “At home with the Lord.”

Valerie Kathleen Brown (née McMullan), Derry

Malachy Campbell, 13 Clooney Terrace, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Malachy Campbell, October 23 2025, suddenly at his home, 13 Clooney Terrace, husband of Jennifer, father of Caoimhin, beloved son of the Late Malachy and Ellen dear brother of Noel, friend of David Toland. Those wishing to pay their respects to Malachy can do so at Carr Family Funeral Directors, Abbey Park today (Friday) from 5.00pm until removal at 6.15pm to St Eugene's Cathedral to repose overnight for Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the city Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the following link: https://www.steugenescathedral.com/webcam.html. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Knock pray for him.

Martin Kelly, 37 Griffith Park, Culmore Road, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Martin Kelly, October 22 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Mary, loving father of Emma-Jayne, Gillian and the late baby Martin Gerard, a devoted grandfather and dear brother of Tony, Kathleen, Ann and the late Bobby, Eamon, Brian and Jackie. Martin will be reposing in his home, 37 Griffith Park, Culmore Road. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.20am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 9.00pm to 1.00pm. Phelim Mallon, 95 Craigstown Road, Randalstown (formerly The Loup)

The death has taken place of the late Phelim Mallon (Tannaghmore/Randalstown), October 22 2025, peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family. Devoted Husband of Tersea (née Heffron), loving father figure to Rozelle and doting grandfather to Alyze and Andrew. Son of the late Tommy and Ellen, dear brother to Francis (Sheena), Noel, Paul (Úna), Adrian (Joanne), Damian (Bernie) and Anita (Philip O’Hagan). Brother-in-law to Patsy, Seamus, Raymond, Damian, Brendan and the late Brian and Shaun. Family and friends welcome on Friday from 12.00noon to 9.00pm. His remains will be removed from his late residence, 95 Craigstown Road, Randalstown on Saturday, October 25 at 10.20am to St. Comgall’s Church, Antrim for 11.00am Requiem Mass, interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. St. Martin Pray for him. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing, wife, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

Sydney Larkin Nixon, Northland Drive, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Sydney Larkin Nixon, October 22 2025, peacefully at Oakleaves Care Home (in his 89th year). Beloved husband of the late Lily Ross. Late of Northland Drive. Seamus Quinn, 18 Mansefield Grove, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Seamus Quinn, October 22 2025, Suddenly, Beloved husband of Jacqueline and loving father of Caitlín, Seamus, Mícheál, Roisín and Diarmuid. Dear son of the late James and Sheila. Dear Brother of Gerard, Dermot, Aileen, Oonagh and the late Siobhan. Seamus's remains will repose at home from 3.00pm on Friday, October 24. The family have requested that the house will be private from 10.00pm until 12noon each day of the wake. Funeral from his home, 18 Mansefield Grove, on Monday, October 27 at 9:20am to St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. William Columba (Billy) Quinn, 20 Mount Pleasant, Derry

The death has taken place of William Columba (Billy) Quinn, October 23 2025, peacefully at Culmore Manor, beloved husband of Adeline, loving father of Joanne, Katherine and Rachel, father-in-law of Nicholas and Dave, devoted grandfather of Thomas, Conor, Daire, Clodagh and Senan and dear brother of the late Brian. His remains will be reposing in his home, 20 Mount Pleasant, on Friday from 1.00pm – 9.00pm.
