Lorna Averell (née Bowman), 34 Glenburn Park, Magherafelt

The death has taken place of the late Lorna Averell (née Bowman), October 10 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family, 34 Glenburn Park, Magherafelt, dearly loved wife of Colin, much loved mother of Nicola and Darren, dear mother-in-law of Amanda and Adrian, loving nanny of Matthew, Sarah, Harry, Aaron and Ryan and dearest sister of Victor, Mervyn, Doris, Maureen, Ivor, Kenny and the late Des and Norman. House private. bFamily and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Sunday evening (October 12) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Funeral from her home on Monday (October 13) at 1:00pm for service in St Swithin’s Parish Church at 1:30pm approx. followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of the late John David Carruthers, October 11 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved Husband of the late Kathleen, 32 Druminerick Road, Kilrea, much loved Father of David, Charlie, Ian, Lindsay and Graham, a loving Father-in-Law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and dearest Brother of May. John Daniel (Sam) Coster, Roeview Park, Limavady

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of John Daniel (Sam) Coster, Late of Roeview Park, Limavady, Passed away peacefully on October 10 2025 at Altnagelvin hospital surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of the late Meta, loving father to Paul (Roslaeen), Tony (Dympna) Jacqui and Mark (Lynda). Devoted Grandfather to Brian, Samantha, Rebecca, Talisa, Andrew, Harvey, Hollie and the late Emma. Also a special great grandfather. House private, All welcome to attend the funeral service in Browns and at the Graveside. (Time and date for wake and funeral will be re arranged). Family flowers only please. Linden McKinley (née Forgrave, Drumard Park, Tamlaght O’Crilly

The death has taken place of the late John Linden McKinley (née Forgrave), October 10 2025, (peacefully) at Milesian Manor Care Home, Magherafelt, formerly Drumard Park, Tamlaght O’Crilly, dearly beloved wife of the late Andrew, much loved and devoted mother of Gordon and Adrian, dear mother-in-law of Norma and Sharon, cherished granny of Holly, Sasha, Kyle, Rebecca, Amy, Ryan and Aaron, loving great-granny of Eva and Andrew and dearest sister of May, Jackie and the late Jean. Funeral service in Tamlaght O’Crilly Upper Parish Church on Sunday (October 12) at 2:30pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Tamlaght O’Crilly Upper Parish Church Building Fund payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c). Elizabeth (Betty) McLaughlin (née McLaughlin), 66 Woodland Walk Limavady

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) McLaughlin (née McLaughlin), October 10 2025, Peacefully at Rush Hall care home Limavady, aged 97. Late of 66 Woodland Walk Limavady. Beloved wife of the late Maurice R.I.P. Loving mother of Eamonn (Phrasie) and the late Carole R.I.P. Devoted grandmother of Ciaran (Tamara) Ryan (Gemma) and great grandmother of baby Harry. Dear daughter of the late Hugh and Jane McLaughlin R.I.P. Much loved sister of Margaret, John, Monica, Brian, and the late Hugh, Bridget, Mary and Billy R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Reposing in St.Mary's Church, Limavady. Requiem Mass will be held today (Sunday), October 12 in St Mary’s Church at 10:30am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Noeleen McLaughlin (née McCloskey), 42B Cable Street, Derry

The death has taken place of Noeleen McLaughlin (née McCloskey), October 11 2025, peacefully at her home, 42B Cable Street, beloved mother of Mark, Sean and Michelle, loving grandmother of Sarah, Adam, Chloé, Fiádh and Ciánan, dear and loving sister of Patrick, Terry, Tony, Kevin, Leo, Mary, Patricia, Sean, Jacqueline, Angela and the late Martin and Noel, cherished mother-in-law of Declan and Carla and a devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Noeleen will be sadly missed by Danny and the wider family circle. Noeleen will be reposing at her home. Wake for family and close friends only please. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, October 13 at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
