Kathleen Cartin (née Lagan), Aghadowey (Late of Craigbane)

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the peaceful death of Kathleen Cartin (née Lagan), at Bohill Care Home on October 1 2025, the feast of St Therese of the Child Jesus. Beloved wife of the late Philip, dear mother of Mary McCoy, (Seamus), Philip, (Fiona) and Susan who died in infancy. Much loved grandmother of Martin, Stephen, Teresa and Sofia, great grandmother of Shea, Connor, Peter and Isla. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lagan and dear sister of Elizabeth, May, Charlie, Susan and the late Tommy and Mary Brigid. Sister-in-law of Tessie. Kathleen is reposing at Dempsey’s Funeral Home, 11 Coleraine Street, Kilrea BT515QA, where everyone is welcome to call to pay their respects on Saturday from 5.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday in our Lady of Assumption Church, Cullycapple Road, Aghadowey at 1.00pm. Sr. Bernardine Hannon, Gurteen, Sligo (Former principal of Nazareth House Primary School, Derry)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sr. Bernardine Hannon, Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Nazareth Nursing Home, Church Hill, Sligo, formerly Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Predeceased by her parents, Martin and Nora, her brothers: Fr. Gregory, Tom and Colm, her sister-in-law Ann and nephew Martin. Sadly missed by her Nazareth community, sister-in-law Christine, niece, nephews relatives and friends. Reposing at the Nazareth House Convent, Church Hill, Sligo (F91 W7RN) from 4.00pm on Sunday with removal at 5.45pm to the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo (F91 DD72) to arrive at 6.00pm. Martin Kelly, 13 Agherton Drive, Portstewart

The death has occurred of the late Martin Kelly, October 3 2025, suddenly at his home, 13 Agherton Drive, Portstewart. Dearly loved husband of Louise, much loved father of Briana, Megan and Conor; loving son of PJ and Philomena, a dear brother of Declan, James, Peter, Mary-Claire and Linda; and a much loved uncle. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home on Sunday and Monday during the hours of 3.00pm - 5.00pm and 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Requiem Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Star of The Sea Church, Portstewart, on Tuesday at 1.00pm, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of the late Thelma Elizabeth Linton, October 3 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, , Brooklands Nursing Home, Magherafelt, dearly loved Daughter of Pearl the late Ronnie, 29 Carricknakielt Road, Maghera, much loved Sister of Stephen, Amanda and Phillip and a loving Aunt of Travis. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Sunday evening (October 5) from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Thelma’s Life will take place in Maghera Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 6 at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Audrey McDonnell (née Weir), October 3 2025, peacefully at Hospital, 3 Dunsuivnish Park, Portstewart. Dearly loved wife of Dave and the late Jackie, precious mother of Sharon and Donna, mother-in-law of Ken, much loved granny of Laura, Amy, Kyle and Rebekah, great-nana of Jacob, Oliver, Isabella, Theo and Aurelia and dear sister of Lorna and the late Isobel, Kathleen, Jack, Mavis, Violet and Victor. Family and friends are welcome to call at her daughter Donna’s home, 69 Avonbrook Gardens, Coleraine on Sunday from 3.00pm - 6.00pm. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of baby Ella O’Doherty peacefully at home in the arms of her loving parents on October 3 2025. Dearly beloved wife of the late Harry, much loved mother of Matthew, Richard, Ruth and Peter, dear mother-in-law of Veronica, Jane, Ellis and Carol, loving granny of Danielle, Andrew, Ciara, Samual, Jonathan, Claire, Rebecca, Thomas and Steven and great-granny of Oliver Amelia, Rayna, Maya and Freya. Service in St. Patrick’s Church Coleraine on Monday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery.
