Alexander (Alex) Bradley, 35 Bridgend, Coagh

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Alexander (Alex) Bradley, August 19 2025, (peacefully) at his home, 35 Bridgend, Coagh, dearly loved Husband of the late Doreen, precious Father of Thomas and Christine, a dear Father-in-Law of Linda and Alan, much adored Granda of Bradley and dearest Brother of Emma and the late Robert, Tilly, Margaret and William. House strictly private. Funeral will take place from his home on Thursday, August 21 at 2:00pm to Tamlaght Parish Church for service at 2:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie and Coagh Medical Centre, can be made online or payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore, Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his sorrowing Family and Family Circle.

Elizabeth Anne Burke, Queenora Avenue, Portstewart

The death has taken place of Elizabeth Anne Burke, August 16 2025, peacefully at hospital, late of Queenora Avenue, Portstewart. Dearly loved daughter of the late Charles and Mary Burke, mother of Caroline, grandmother of Katie and Alex, and great-grandmother of Reika and Torrin, cousin of Yvonne and Wendy. Service of Thanksgiving in Wades Funeral Home, on Saturday at 11.00am, followed by interment in Agherton Cemetery, Portstewart. Family flowers only please. Yvonne Doherty, 1 Woodlands Avenue, Culmore, Derry

The death has taken place of Yvonne Doherty, AUGUST 15 2025, suddenly at her home, 1 Woodlands Avenue, Culmore, loving mother of Connlaoth, Ellen and Alex, beloved daughter of John L and Kitty, cherished sister of Feargal and Cathir. Yvonne will be reposing at her home. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Followed by a private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Loving and Loved.

Neil McCafferty, 104 The Meadows, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Neil McCafferty, August 18 2025, suddenly, surrounded by his loving family, at Causeway Hospital, beloved husband of Bridie, loving father of Michael, Andrea, Karen, Sinead and Emma, devoted grandfather of Caolan, Ethan, Matthew, Cahir, Hollie, Charlie and Jacob, caring father-in-law to his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, dear son of the late Michael and Nellie, cherished brother of Laura, Mary, Vincent, Michael and Majella, a dear and devoted uncle to his nephews and nieces. Neil will be reposing at his home, 104 The Meadows on Wednesday, August 20 from 11:00am. House private please from 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving his home on Friday, August 22 at 10:20am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

Robbie John (Bertie) Simpson, 11 Cambourne Park, Kilfennan, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Robbie John (Bertie) Simpson, August 18 2025, Peacefully a his home, 11 Cambourne Park, Kilfennan, ( surround by his loving family in his 92nd year) dearly beloved husband of the late Carol Simpson (nee Torrens) much loved dad of Paul, Mark and Amanda, loving father-in-law of Annette, Audrey and Stephen, adored granda of Steven, Natasha, Tanesha, Stacie, Ashleigh, Kirsty, Nicole, Adam and Holly, great-granda of Noah and Darragh. Funeral service for his life in Kilfennan Presbyterian Church on Thursday, August 21 at 1.00pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to call at his son Mark’s home, 25 Desertowen Road, Trench Road, BT47 3UN on Wednesday, August 20 from 2.00pm until 8.00pm. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired (cheques made payable to Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ (which will be divided by the family charity of their choice). Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. “At Rest”
