Debra Fox (née Reynolds), 8 Ardanlee, Culmore, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Debra Fox (née Reynolds), August 7 2025, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital beloved wife of Colin, step mum to Ryan and Sarah, loving daughter of Mervyn and Dorothy Reynolds, dear sister of Nicola and the late Philippa, daughter-in-law of Charles and Eileen Fox and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, niece, colleague and friend. Debra will be reposing in her home, 8 Ardanlee, Culmore, Derry on Monday from 12noon – 8.00pm and on Tuesday from 12noon – 3.00pm. House private until Monday please.bFuneral service will take place in Mossley Methodist Church, Manse Drive Glengormley on Wednesday at 1.30pm. Interment afterwards in Carnmoney Cemetery. Family Flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road BT48 8JE. Deep are the memories, precious they stay. No passing of time can take them away.

 

Adeline Bridget Hunter (née Lecky), 6 Ashgrove Park, Altnagelvin, Derry

The death has taken place of Adeline Bridget Hunter (née Lecky), August 8 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by her loving family in her 87th year) dearly beloved wife of the late Wallace, much loved mother of Lorraine and David, loving mother-in-law of Russell and Susan, adored granny of Amy, Alice, Amber, Emily and Annabel, great-granny of Aria, Bella and Gracie. Funeral leaving her late home, 6 Ashgrove Park, Altnagelvin, on Monday, August 11 at 12.00noon followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for her life in Glendermott Presbyterian Church at 12.30pm burial afterwards in Manorcunningham Church of Ireland Churchyard arriving approximately at 4.00pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired (cheques made payable to W. H. & S.C.T Altnagelvin Hospital (Ward 40) c/o Cash Office, Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 6SB. Frankie O'Donnell, 18 Kenmare Park, Foyle Springs, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Frankie O'Donnell, August 8 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Ann, loving father of Sean, Rachel, Laura and Ryan, devoted grandfather to Shea, Sophia, Mia, Ben and Jack, dear son of the late Francis and Grace, cherished brother of Kathleen, Sean, Eugene, Ann, Angela, Suzanna, Pat, Bridie and the late Charlie, a dear and loving brother-in-law, father-in-law and a dear uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Frankie will be reposing at his home, 18 Kenmare Park, Foyle Springs. Family time please from 10:00pm to 12:00noon. Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday, August 12 at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.

 

Catherine Parsons (née McKinney), Victoria Street, Portrush

The death has occurred of the late Catherine Parsons (née McKinney), July 30 2025, suddenly in Bulgaria and late of Victoria Street, Portrush beloved wife of Alex, loving mother of Darla and Willow, cherished daughter of Desi and Martina, daughter-in-law of Mary and Alex, dear sister of Desi, Gareth, Conor and Claire and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Catherine’s remains will be reposing in her sister’s home, 97 Templegrove, BT48 0RF from 2.00pm on Sunday. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time from 8.00pm – 12noon please. Queen of the most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Marian Robinson, (née McMonagle), 50 Cornshell Fields, Derry

The death has taken place of Marian Robinson, (née McMonagle), August 8 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by all her family. Beloved wife of the Late James (Jim) Loving mother of Warren, Jim, Roland, Clare, Neil, Debbie and the late Mark and Ryan. A much loved Grandmother, Great Grandmother. Beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Mona. Dear Sister of John, Charlie, Betty, Eileen, Monica, Veronica, Geraldine, Collette, Sheila, Martin and the late Lornie, Jim and Neil. Funeral arrangements later from her home, 50 Cornshell Fields. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone that knew her. Sacred heart of jesus have mercy on her soul. Our lady of Knock pray for her.

 

John Stewart, 15 Glenmaquill Road, Magherafelt

The death has taken place of John Stewart, August 9,m 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, 15 Glenmaquill Road, Magherafelt, dearly beloved husband of Ana Morery, much loved and devoted father of Morery and Joe and dearest brother of Bailey, Jim, Hall, Louise, Robert, Sally and the late Hugh, William and Thomas. Funeral arrangements later. Lovingly remembered by the entire family circle. “Too good in life to be forgotten in death.”
