Niamh Bonner, 16 Central Drive, Derry

The death has taken place of Niamh Bonner, July 29 2025, suddenly at her home, 16 Central Drive, (formerly of Castleview Park), loving mother of Eimear, Ciara, Lauren, Oisin, Aoife and Dara, dear mother-in-law to Gavin, devoted grandmother of Ava, Bronan, Hannah, Hugo, Luca and Cahir, beloved daughter of Kathleen and the late Seamus, cherished sister of Fiachra, Caoimhe, Dualtach, Tiarnan and Aíne and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Niamh will be reposing at her at her home on Thursday, July 31 from 11:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, August 2 at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.

Elaine Donaghey, 18 Forthill Park, Newtownstewart (formerly of Derry)

The death has occurred of the late Elaine Donaghey, July 29 2025, at homec, 18 Forthill Park, Newtownstewart, formerly of 30 Beaufort Drive, Derry. Loving Mother of Holly, Rhys and Zara and beloved Grandmother of Grace. Funeral service in Adair and Neely Funeral Home, Foyle Road at 1.00pm on Friday, August 1 followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Friends and family welcome to Adair and Neely Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle. The Lord is my Shepherd.

Noleen Duddy (née Feeney),  5 Carmoney Park, Campsie

The death has occurred of the late Noleen Duddy (née Feeney), July 30 2025, peacefully at her home, 5 Carmoney Park, Campsie, beloved wife of Ian, loving mother of Mark, Lucy, Adam and Emma, cherished daughter of Bernadette and the late Patsy and dear sister of Teresa, Brian and the late Colette. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Thursday from 12noon – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Friday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Dermot Kerr, 28 Derramore Park, Magherafelt

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Dermot Kerr (Magherafelt), July 30 2025, beloved husband of the late Vera and loving father of Siobhan (Murphy), Marian (Marron), Philomena (Smylie), Sean, Damian, Martin, Eugene, Paul and Ciaran, brother of Madeleine (Doyle) and the late Patsy, Desmond, Jack, Frank, Kathleen and Albert. Funeral from his home, 28 Derramore Park, on Friday, August 1 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt. Interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Nicki Lang, Derry

The death has taken place of Nicki Lang, July 29 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved son of Patricia and Patrick, loving brother of Kerrie and Coalhin, dear uncle of Ava-Leigh. Nicki will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Friday, August 1 at 9:30am To St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Sean Tierney, 32 Derrycrin Road, Ballinderry (formerly of Ahoghill)

The death has taken place of Sean Tierney (peacefully at hospital), July 29 2025, late of 32 Derrycrin Road, Ballinderry (and formerly Ahoghill), beloved husband of Marian, much loved father of Liam, Dominic, Ambrose, John and the late Cosmas and loving brother Teresa (Manion), Patrick, Kevin and the late Brendan. Sean’s remains will leave from there on Friday, August 1 at 9.10am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ahoghill, burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery, Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters in law, brothers, sister, grandchildren and all the family circle.
